Three sisters on a mission to save their father's life build an organization that continues to give hope and save lives. It's the kind of story you would expect to watch on a made for TV movie. Yet the Flood sisters are very real and so is their story. Desperate to help their father find a kidney donor, the sisters posted an ad on Craigslist leading to both a donor for their father as well as media attention. From this, The Flood Sisters Kidney Foundation of America was born.
The foundation held their annual benefit last night at the fashionable Gansevoort Park Hotel. Guests sipped Chambord cocktails, enjoyed horderves from The One Group Catering, and danced to the tunes of celebrity DJ, Ani Quinn. The gift bags were provided by Glitter Magazine. The gift bags included items from SalonTea and Kelvin Natural Slush Co. Flood Sisters Spring Soiree was sponsored by All Island Gunite Pools. Honoring life was certainly the theme through out the night as the foundation celebrated their 6th transplant this month!
