    Conscious exclusive at H&M: More sustainable fashion full of Hollywood glamour

    Hollywood glamour comes to H&M this spring with Conscious Exclusive – a partywear collection made from more sustainable materials. The collection features clothing and accessories for both men and women, and is part of H&M’s Conscious work to offer more sustainable fashion. Materials used in the collection include organic cotton, recycled polyester, recycled polyamide and TENCEL. The Conscious Exclusive collection will be available in around 140 stores worldwide as well as online from April 4, 2013.

    Ever crack your iPhone screen?  You're not alone.  One can only imagine cracking your screen on your iPad but just like the numerous choices of iPhone cases, it's getting more and more difficult to figure out the go to company for protecting your other appendages.  Thankfully we met Robert Dodge, the CEO/Founder of DeviceWear at this year's Grammy Awards VIP tent.  Not only was he a down to earth nice guy to talk to, but also a passionate entrepreneur who, like the rest of us, just wanted something better to both protect and make the most out of his iPhone and iPad.  We'd be lying if we didn't tell you that our iPad hasn't been the same since he gave us a black DeviceWear Detour 360 Rotating iPad case.  Anything that allows us to watch streaming Netflix hands free in a perfect angle while lying in bed is a total score.  Since the Detour 360 is  "smart enabled",  when we pass out after midnight on episode 9 of "House of Cards", we can also enjoy dreamland worry free by just closing the Detour 360's case to put our iPad  to sleep.. if only we were that easy.

  • Alicia Keys - 2013 Sundance Film Festival

    Celebrity makeup artist Nick Barose used Votre Vu products to create the look for Alicia Keys’ surprise appearance at the 2013 Sundance premiere for ‘The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete’.



    “For the look of Alicia’s surprise appearance at the premiere of ‘The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete,’ we wanted to go for a very simple, fresh and modern look.

    I first applied the Votre Vu Love Me Deux in St. Tropez.  Then I lightly dusted the peachy pink blush from the Beaute en Bronze  blush/bronzer duo.  This gave her a very natural, glowing flush because the blush has gorgeous light shimmer in it.

    For her eyes, I lined her waterline with the Le Joli Crayon in Charbon as well as her inner rim and smudged it out a bit to give definition to her eyes while still keeping it soft and simple.  Then I applied the Eiffel Power mascara to her upper and lower lashes.

    Lastly, for her lips, I applied the Vu-On Rouge in Bouquet Rose with my fingers for a very sheer color and then applied a bit of balm over it to keep her lips hydrated and glossy for the evening.”
