global conservation work to life through innovative exhibits such as
the Allison Maher Stern Snow Leopard and Tropic Zone Rainforest

wildlife and wild places worldwide. We do so through science, global
conservation, education and the management of the world's largest system
of urban wildlife parks, led by the flagship Bronx Zoo. Together these
activities change attitudes towards nature and help people imagine
wildlife and humans living in harmony. WCS is committed to this mission
because it is essential to the integrity of life on Earth. Visit www.wcs.org. Dr. Steven Sanderson

2011 CHOCOLATE FASHION SHOW: OPENING NIGHT NEW YORK November 14, 2011 By Joanne Wong and Jackie Lee For Lifestyle, Beauty and Fashion From Broadway to Soufflé, the 2011 New York Chocolate Fashion Show on November 9th, presented by Lincoln, was a spectacular kickoff to the 14thAnnual Chocolate Show held at the Metropolitan Pavilion through Sunday Nov 13th. Inspired by this year’s Broadway Musicals theme, teams of celebrated pastry chefs and award winning costume designers created outfits and accessories made of artisan chocolates. Participants included “Top Chef: Just Desserts” Zac Young, One if By Land’s Dean Anderson, “Project Runway’s” Elisa Jiminez and many more culinary and fashion icons. Their whimsical and elaborate cocoa dresses were showcased through Broadway classics such as The Lion King, Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables to new hits like Follies, The Addams Family and Ch’inglish. Customary to any theatre experience on The Great White Way, the show opened with the “Playbill” dress and closed with standing ovations to the chefs and designers who joined the models on stage. Martin Howard (aka Chocolatina) with Broadway costume designer Michael Plosky ‘s Broadway Playbill number was a big huge hit and the chocolate truffles that they threw out to the audience tasted so chocolaty delicious and simply melted in mouths with great delight! Below are photos taken straight from the runway of the Chocolate Fashion show on November 9, 2011.
